Great Bridge Chapter, NSDAR

Norfolk chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, part of District I of the Virginia state society. Organized in 1894, the oldest DAR chapter in Hampton Roads. Named for the 1775 Battle of Great Bridge, the South's first Revolutionary land battle. The chapter serves its community through historic preservation, education, and patriotic work.
Meeting information
Schedule: First Thursday of the month, September through May, in Norfolk
How to join
Membership is open to women 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership details are on the chapter website.
