Great Bridge Chapter, SAR

Chesapeake chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, part of the Virginia Society. Organized in 2023. Named for the 1775 Battle of Great Bridge. Leads the annual Battle of Great Bridge commemoration each December with the Norfolk chapter. Members preserve Revolutionary history through grave markings, color guard ceremonies, and youth awards.

How to join
Membership is open to men 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Details are on the website.
