Gum Springs Homeowners Organization

A voluntary community organization for the historic Gum Springs neighborhood in the Mount Vernon district of Fairfax County, a community founded by the freedman West Ford. Despite its name it charges no dues and is open to any owner, resident or stakeholder, which sets it apart from the small deed-restricted associations nearby. It belongs to the Mount Vernon Council of Citizens' Associations.
