John Alexander Chapter, NSDAR

Alexandria chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, part of District V of the Virginia state society. First met May 17, 1932, at Gadsby's Tavern. Named for John Alexander, who donated the land that became Alexandria. The chapter serves its community through historic preservation, education, and patriotic work.

How to join
Membership is open to women 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership details are on the chapter website.
