Mount Vernon club of Kiwanis International, part of the Capital District's Division 2. Chartered November 5, 1953 with 35 founding members. Runs an annual Christmas tree sale and sponsors a Little Theatre of Alexandria play each spring. Members serve the children and families of their community through hands-on projects and fundraising.
