Knights of Columbus Council 562

Roanoke council of the Knights of Columbus, known as Roanoke Council 562. Instituted in 1901. Attached to Saint Andrew's Catholic Church (also serves Our Lady of Nazareth and Saint Elias Maronite Catholic Church). Hosts Lenten fish fries; the oldest council in this batch, chartered April 21, 1901. Members carry out charitable work, support their parish, and raise funds for community causes.
