Knights of Columbus Council 5998

Alexandria council of the Knights of Columbus, known as Mount Vernon Council 5998. Instituted in 1966. Attached to St. Louis Catholic Church and Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Hosted a free COVID-19 testing clinic for more than 250 Alexandria residents; runs an annual Wild Game Feed fundraiser and a Mount Vernon Catholic Men's Conference. Members carry out charitable work, support their parish, and raise funds for community causes.
