Harrisonburg council of the Knights of Columbus, known as Fr. Edward W. Johnston Council 9488. Attached to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. With the JMU Knights of Columbus (Council 9286), donated a support machine to AVA Care of Harrisonburg, a pregnancy resource center; also hosts an annual Lenten fish fry and a Knights of Columbus breakfast benefiting the parish food pantry. Members carry out charitable work, support their parish, and raise funds for community causes.

Schedule: 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, in Johnston Hall at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church

Membership is open to practising Catholic men aged 18 and over. Details are on the council website.
