Runs 'Just Desserts' social events and a scholarship program; organizes its service work through five committees (Arts & Culture, Civic Engagement, Education & Libraries, Environment, Health & Wellness). The General Federation of Women's Clubs is a volunteer service organization founded in 1890, and GFWC Virginia federates its clubs across eight districts of the Commonwealth.
