Mary Ball Woman's Club

Woman's club serving Spotsylvania County. Named for Mary Ball Washington (mother of George Washington); references the Mary Ball monument in Fredericksburg. Founded in June 1962 as a chapter of the Woman's Club of Fredericksburg, became independently federated with VFWC/GFWC in April 1964. The General Federation of Women's Clubs is a volunteer service organization founded in 1890, and GFWC Virginia federates its clubs across eight districts of the Commonwealth.
