Mary Hemings Bell Chapter, NSDAR

Purcellville chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, part of District VIII of the Virginia state society. Named for Mary Hemings Bell, the first Hemings to gain freedom. Organized January 17, 2021. The chapter serves its community through historic preservation, education, and patriotic work.

Schedule: Second Thursday or second Sunday of each month, September through May
How to join
Membership is open to women 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership details are on the chapter website.
