Lorton club of Lions Clubs International, part of Virginia District 24-L. Sells and delivers 8-foot, roughly 400-lb reinforced-concrete park benches with optional commemorative plaques (a bench was delivered as far as Crozet, VA in March 2022) in addition to its eyeglass-recycling and Lorton Community Action Center work. Members raise funds for sight and hearing care and carry out service projects in their community.

Schedule: 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at Cranford United Methodist Church, or occasionally via Zoom; social at 6:00 PM, meeting called to order 7:00 PM

How to join
Membership is open to adults who want to serve their community; prospective members are welcome at a meeting. Details are on the club website.
