Melrose-Rugby Neighborhood Forum, Inc.

The Melrose-Rugby neighborhood covers the area westside of 10th Street Northwest and eastside of LaFayette Boulevard Northwest, with borders of Orange Avenue Northwest and Cove Road Northwest. The neighborhood is primarily residential with an extensive system of curbs and sidewalks along hilly streets. On many streets the neighborhood has exceptional mountain views. The Melrose-Rugby Neighborhood Forum, Inc. is a winner of national Physical Revitalization award from Neighborhoods USA (NUSA) for renovation work by volunteers in a neighborhood. Roanoke's neighborhood organizations and watch groups are recognized by the city's Office of Neighborhood Services, which publishes them as the way to reach each neighborhood.
