Merrimac Shores Civic Association

The civic association for Merrimac Shores, a waterfront Hampton neighborhood laid out from 1945. An elected board holds an annual meeting and resident picnic each September, along with a Fourth of July parade and a fall festival. The city places it in Neighborhood District 8. Residents are asked for a voluntary annual payment of fifty dollars towards upkeep of the neighborhood park, and those who do not pay may still use it for a donation per visit.
