Alexandria chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, part of District V of the Virginia state society. Organized in 1893 on the piazza at Mount Vernon. Third chapter in Virginia, forty-eighth in the National Society. The chapter serves its community through historic preservation, education, and patriotic work.

Schedule: Second Thursday of each month, September through May
How to join
Membership is open to women 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership details are on the chapter website.
