Nelly Custis Chapter, NSDAR

Mount Vernon chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, part of District V of the Virginia state society. Renamed from the Irvine-Welles Chapter in 1994 to honor Nelly Custis. Lays a wreath annually at Nelly Custis's grave at Mount Vernon. The chapter serves its community through historic preservation, education, and patriotic work.
Meeting information
Schedule: Second Saturday of the month, September through May, at venues in the Alexandria area
How to join
Membership is open to women 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership details are on the chapter website.
