Newport News chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, part of District I of the Virginia state society. Organized in 1927. Named for Captain Christopher Newport, namesake of Newportes Newes. The chapter serves its community through historic preservation, education, and patriotic work.

Schedule: Various days each month, September through May
How to join
Membership is open to women 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership details are on the chapter website.
