Norfolk Chapter, SAR
NorfolkHistoricalService
Norfolk chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, part of the Virginia Society. Chartered February 8, 1924, one of Virginia's oldest SAR chapters. Co-hosts the Battle of the Virginia Capes commemoration and Yorktown Day. Members preserve Revolutionary history through grave markings, color guard ceremonies, and youth awards.
How to join
Membership is open to men 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Details are on the website.
