Hopewell club of Optimist International, part of the Capital-Virginia District. Organized in 1953. Awards an annual recognition scholarship to graduating seniors in Hopewell and Prince George County. Members bring out the best in kids through youth programs, contests, and hands-on service.

Schedule: 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM, Optimist Club Building, 1400 Lynchburg St, Hopewell
