Pembroke Woman's Club

Woman's club serving Pembroke in Giles County. Chartered in 1942. Has run the Pembroke Public Library as a volunteer project since 1975. It is reputed to be among the smallest walk-in libraries in the United States. The General Federation of Women's Clubs is a volunteer service organization founded in 1890, and GFWC Virginia federates its clubs across eight districts of the Commonwealth.
Meeting information
Schedule: Second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Town Library; the second Tuesday in September and May instead meets at the Masonic Hall, 6:30 pm.
