Potomac Appalachian Trail Club — Charlottesville Chapter

The Charlottesville chapter of the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club, hiking and caring for trails since 1986. Volunteers maintain a section of the Appalachian Trail in the south district of Shenandoah National Park and lead regular weekend hikes; you need not be a PATC member to join a hike or trail-work trip.
Meeting information
Schedule: Saturday hikes and periodic trail-maintenance trips in Shenandoah National Park and the surrounding region.
How to join
Sign up for hikes and trail work through the chapter's Meetup group; PATC membership is encouraged.
