Reston Citizens Association

A voluntary, non-partisan civic organization founded in 1967 that gives Reston residents, workers and visitors a voice on planning, development and quality-of-life questions before Fairfax County. It is distinct from the mandatory covenant-based Reston Association, which every Reston property owner belongs to by deed. The Fairfax County Federation of Citizens Associations records that the Hunter Mill District has no organized district council, and names this association as one of the bodies active there instead.
