Rivanna Trails Foundation

Volunteer-run foundation formed in 1992 that built and maintains the roughly 20-mile Rivanna Trail, a rustic 'urban wilderness' footpath encircling Charlottesville. Supported by membership dues and volunteers who build trail, maintain footbridges, and host public trail-work days.
Meeting information
Schedule: Regular volunteer trail-work parties, plus a major trail-building day each July.
