Rockbridge Volunteers Chapter, SAR

Lexington chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, part of the Virginia Society. Organized in 1978. Named for the Rockbridge Volunteers militia companies of the Revolutionary War. Serves Lexington and Rockbridge County. Members preserve Revolutionary history through grave markings, color guard ceremonies, and youth awards.
How to join
Membership is open to men 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Details are on the website.
