Marion chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, part of District IV of the Virginia state society. Organized in 1978. Named for local oak trees and Royal Oak Presbyterian Church, founded 1776. The chapter serves its community through historic preservation, education, and patriotic work.

Schedule: Fourth Wednesday of each month, September through May
How to join
Membership is open to women 18 and older who can document lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Membership details are on the chapter website.
