Second Street Gallery is a nonprofit contemporary art space in downtown Charlottesville and the oldest nonprofit contemporary art space in Central Virginia. Through exhibitions, artist programs, workshops, and free community programming, we connect audiences with contemporary artists and inspire new ways of thinking, seeing, and doing.
How to join
There are many ways to get involved with Second Street Gallery! Volunteer with us, respond to open calls for artists, attend free Family Studio Days and other community programs, participate in artist workshops and professional development opportunities, visit our exhibitions and events, or support our work through membership and donations.
