Ruritan club serving Sharon in Alleghany County. A longtime charter member helped secure the land for the club's building; members sell fried apple pies from the club's trailer at area festivals. Ruritan is a rural and small-town service organization founded in Holland, Virginia in 1928, built on fellowship, goodwill and community service.
