Shawquon Ruritan Club

Ruritan club serving Shawquon in Frederick County. Chartered in 1956. Sponsors an annual Car, Truck & Tractor Show at Stephens City's Newtown Commons (16th annual in 2026), with proceeds funding college scholarships; also holds an old-fashioned apple butter-making event. Ruritan is a rural and small-town service organization founded in Holland, Virginia in 1928, built on fellowship, goodwill and community service.
Meeting information
Schedule: Third Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm, at Anthony's Pizza, Stephens City (not the club's own building).
