Runs a 'Backpack Buddy' program distributing 80-100 bag lunches per week to students at Snowville Elementary School (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.), plus a student Kindness Award nominated by teachers. Ruritan is a rural and small-town service organization founded in Holland, Virginia in 1928, built on fellowship, goodwill and community service.
