South Hill club of Lions Clubs International, part of Virginia District 24-I. Provides sight screenings at area schools and helps pay for eyeglasses/eye exams for those in need; awards Lions Club scholarships to local students (recipients documented through 2024). Members raise funds for sight and hearing care and carry out service projects in their community.

Schedule: 2nd and 4th Monday at 6:30 PM at Wilson's Restaurant or South Hill United Methodist Church, South Hill, VA.
How to join
Membership is open to adults who want to serve their community; prospective members are welcome at a meeting. Details are on the club website.
