Broadway post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 9660, known as the Chimney Rock Post. Part of District 7 of the Department of Virginia. Founded in 1947 by local veterans of the Second World War, on four acres that include the rock the post is named for. The post rents its hall out. Members are veterans of overseas service who support fellow veterans and their families, run the Voice of Democracy and Patriot's Pen youth essay contests, and take part in community service.

How to join

Membership is open to United States veterans and serving members who earned a campaign medal for overseas service, served in Korea, or received hostile fire or imminent danger pay. Reach the post through its Facebook page.
