A Historic 1859 Landmark in the Heart of Ashland. Host your celebration in this beautifully preserved former Baptist church, where soaring white columns, classical proportions, and an iconic red front door have anchored downtown Ashland for more than 165 years. The chandelier-lit ballroom seats up to 135 guests at round tables (or 225–250 standing), with an adjacent stage, bride's room, side banquet room, a small prep kitchen, and a full-acre front lawn for outdoor ceremonies. The Center sits along the historic railroad tracks of "the Center of the Universe" and is operated by the nonprofit Hanover Arts & Activities Center as a hub for cultural, educational, and community life in Hanover County.
