Hanover Tavern

For nearly three hundred years, Hanover Tavern has stood at the center of community life at Hanover Courthouse — first as a colonial-era stagecoach stop, today as one of central Virginia’s most distinctive event venues. Host weddings, receptions, corporate functions, and private celebrations in a gorgeous historic setting. Choose from a variety of intimate rooms within the Tavern itself or the E. J. Wade Coach House, an historically inspired modern events center. Outdoor ceremonies can be held in the courtyard or on the patio with its fire pit and heating elements. All-inclusive packages accommodate up to 40 guests (Boutique), 100 guests (Intimate), or 150 guests (Platinum), with in-house catering and a professional waitstaff.
