The house was built in 1858 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Renters can combine rooms. The auditorium holds up to 300 and has a 25-foot stage. Two parlors connect through an arched pocket door, and a third, once the dining room, suits a cocktail hour. The Fleet Foyer links the auditorium to the parlors, the Board Room holds a long table, and a kitchen serves the caterer. Every rentable room is wheelchair accessible. Events cost $2,250 to $8,500, with a $1,000 damage deposit; members and nonprofits pay less. Caterers come from an approved list, and each event has the house to itself.

About The Woman's Club of Richmond

The Woman's Club of Richmond was founded in 1894 by fourteen women meeting in a parlor on West Franklin Street, and it now has more than 1,500 members. The house belongs to the Bolling Haxall House Foundation, which has worked with the club to restore it since the 1990s.
