Earlysville Volunteer Fire Company

A rural and urban interface company established in 1966, covering 78 square miles of northern Albemarle County. Volunteers staff it on weeknights and at weekends, with county career crews on weekdays. Hall hire: a 3,200 square foot banquet hall seating 250, or 425 standing. It has a commercial kitchen, a private entrance and foyer, tables, chairs, a stereo and a projector, and is step-free. Rates are hourly and set out in a rental agreement. Booking is on 434-481-1810. It is closed at present while the station is renovated, which the company describes as temporary.
